Command Strange - Road Rage / Without You

Flying the flag for the Kazakhstan, Command Strange has been making waves in the electronic music circles in recent months, with releases penned in for Metalheadz, Grid Recordings and Integral. He now switches tempos with two accomplished, rugged and soulful Dubstep productions.
This excursion into the 130-140bpm tempos shows just how versatile a producer he is, as he crafts a sound that is unmistakeably his. ‘Road Rage’ is a gritty, rolling slice of Dubstep, with a dark driving bassline shifting through the gears. With deep, dark undertones, this track also has enough bounce and energy for it to work on the floor.
‘Without You’ finds Command Strange in a more introspective place. On a knife edge between euphoria and despair, this track is full of soul and emotion, and for a debut dubstep release shows a maturity of production beyond his years.

Tyke has been turning heads with his last few releases – plays on BBC Radio 1 from Annie Mac & Annie Nightingale for ‘Scorpio’ and support across the scene for all the tracks from his debut EP ‘The Music Makers’ have made him a name to watch in 2012.
A purveyor of the essence of Drum and Bass, Tyke’s unique studio set up has enabled him to craft his own sound that sets him apart from the crowd – part created by the traditional production techniques he uses, and part created by his twisted genius!
Now on the road to the release of his debut LP ‘Nightmares’ Tyke drops two brand new tunes that have already been turning heads. ‘Infected Headphones’ is instantly recognisable, not only for the tongue in cheek intro, but also the stripped back rawness off the drop. This one really is all about the drums, bass and the vibes!
‘Abominable Vibes’ is a deep dark affair and showcases Tyke’s versatility as a producer and his ability to switch from the energetic main room smashers to more experimental hard edged tracks.

The mighty Twisted Individual returns with his first new single on Grid Recordings in over a year, with one new track from him and a remix courtesy of rising star Tyke. With all of his signature elements present and correct this is classic Twisted and it definitely doesn’t disappoint.
Going against the current trend for all things commercial in bass music, Twisted’s unique style is sounding fresher than ever, and on ‘Touching Cloth’ it’s all about the hypnotic bass, rolling drums and sneaky bongos. This one has
done damage in his DJ sets for the past 9 months, including blowing the roof off Fabric on numerous occasions.
Tyke has been set loose on one of the biggest tracks from Twisted’s debut album catalogue ‘Throbbing Gristle’. Bringing it right up to date and retaining the vibe, flow and of course Transformers samples that made the original, anticipation for his own debut album grows and grows.

Following collaborations with Netsky and Jenna G in 2010, Mutated Forms switch things up and return with two of the most exciting, genre splicing tracks of their career, which will appeal to bass heads from all corners of the dance music spectrum.
Mutated Forms have been turning quite a few heads in recent months, with 3 tracks on the Goldie Fabric Live mix, and remixes for London Elektricty on Hospital. They are continually pushing boundaries and experimenting with different styles and techniques, and as their name suggests their sound has mutated and matured.

The deadly combination of two of the hottest new skool producers Tyke & Prestige return with two huge dancefloor smashers.
Since his solo EP dropped on Grid, Tyke has received plays from right across the scene including spins from Andy C, London Elektricity, Hazard, and Artificial Intelligence amongst others.
Prestige has been quickly rising through the ranks over the past 12 months, and is fast becoming one of Russia’s most well known D&B names, with an impressive catalogue of d&b smashers already under his belt.
